As you can see I am off to my flat now (forever, lol). If I have too much to do today and I become shattered I may not be online again until tomoz. But then knowing me, I will have to sign in tonight sometime just to be nosy.

I will be on slow connection again for 2 or 3 weeks until my broadband arrives.

I am having trouble getting up and keeping on the web. So if I am not around much don't worry.

I am having broadband installed on 9th November so that's only just over a week to hang on for.

Having said that, it wouldn't be the first time that an ISP has promised broadband on a specific date and not delivered. It seems strange to me that they say they can get it organised in such a short time. It used to take a minimum of 3 weeks, so I'm not expecting miracles.

I spent today getting my Halloween costume organised. The Wicked Witch of the East from The Wizard of Oz. It suits me well. Even if I do say so myself, lol.

Well, I have done all I can now until my sofa etc. arrives. At the moment I am using a couple of fold down sunchairs and my dining table to sit on. Not sitting on the table though, lol.

I am in a massive row with B & Q as I mentioned in the quickchat box. I ordered 4 x 7' by 2' mirror doors to section off part of the room.

On fridays last I received an answerphone message to say my doors were in. A 2nd message came in to say that only half of my order was there as the 2 other doors belonged to another order.

On Monday I recieved a phone call to say that the company supplying the doors had ceased trading.

I went barmy. Obviously my order had come in on the Friday and some idiot off the shop floor had sold 2 of them as stock.

I am at this moment refusing my money back and insisting they get another company to make me 4 doors the correct size.

I could have 2 doors 4' by 7' but that is not the look I want. Plus their 4' width doors are bloody ugly.

At the moment I have left it with them to ring around and sort out (I don't care how) getting me the correct size mirror type doors.

This person Amanda was meant to ring me back on Tuesday, which she never did, so I gave her an extra couple of days in case she was on 2 days off before I rang today to see what is happening now. She wasn't to be found so once again I am waiting on a phone call from her when they find her.

Good news though, Sky have just text me to say my broadband will be activated on 6th Nov now instead of 9th.
